Undoubtedly, what shows the depths of a nation's soul is its literature. Examining and comparing
the literature of the nations with each other in the national and international arena is very beneficial,
because getting to know the literature of foreigners and comparing it with the national literature
increases the understanding between the nations and causes intellectual closeness between them.
The story (Umma al-Aranb) by Ahmed Shoghi is one of his beautiful stories that a group of rabbits,
in cooperation with one another, dug a hole for an elephant that had taken their place and was
destroying it, and that elephant fell into the hole, the main concept The story is about several topics
such as unity and integration, consultation, cooperation, love for the country, not accepting
oppression. Professor Hae Jar has translated this story into Kurdish language. This article compares
two stories with a descriptive analytical method and a comparative approach. and has made it clear
that both stories are in the form of a Masnavi, but the Masnavi of Ahmad Shoghi (24) is complete
and in Bahr Rajz is complete, and the Masnavi of Ustad Hay Jar (22) is a verse. The characters of
the story are rabbits and elephants, which are the same in both. The place of the story is the same
Rabbit Abad where rabbits used to live. In both stories, there is an element of dialogue that takes
place between the rabbits and they choose three people and they present their opinions. In both
stories, it is mentioned that three of them were chosen to speak as their representatives. In Ahmed
Shoghi's story, he says that a rabbit called all of them and said: O rabbits, from the wise, the poet
and the writer (he addressed all of them). In the story of Master HaeJar, he mentions that he called
all of them, but like Ahmed Shoghi, he did not use words such as (poet, writer, and scholar). to be
In the story of the second rabbit, when he said, "I will talk to the fox to show us a way, and his
reward for this consultation is two rabbits", Ahmad Shoghi only mentioned two rabbits, but Master
He Jar points out that the fox's reward is for His advice is two fat rabbits. In the story of Ahmed
Shoghi, it is stated that when the third rabbit said that we should all dig a hole on the way of the
elephant, so that when he passed through it, he would fall into it, but Master Haejar, in addition to
digging the hole, covered it with straw and straw. And Bargh has mentioned that he should think
that the path is continuing and not have any doubts about it and fall into that hole. In the story of
Ahmed Shoghi, he states that the elephant chose the place where the rabbits lived as a way to cross,
or to use the plants and water there along the way. He took the place where the rabbits lived by
force and cut their land into pieces. That is, in such a way that they do not get any use from there.
In both stories, a very beautiful message is mentioned in few words, that one should not drive the
enemy out with the enemy, because after all, he is also an enemy, so something must be done from
the heart of the society, and people should join hands and drive out the enemy. The whole story It
points to the importance of unity, cooperation, consultation and love for the homeland.
